You have questions, we have answers!

Our most asked questions are answered below.  Should you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

How much will my customized photo book cost?

There are many factors involved in creating your customized photo book, including how many pictures you want, the type of book you want created and if you need your photos scanned.  Please view our price list page for general pricing or feel free to contact us and we will provide you with an estimate.

How long will it take?

It takes approximately 4 weeks to get your photo book, this includes time to design the book, along with time for printing and shipping.  Should you require revisions to your book, it may take longer.  If you need your book sooner, we will gladly add a rush delivery for a fee of $50.

Do I need to own the rights to my photographs?

Yes. If your photos were taken by a professional photographer, you must have purchased the rights before sharing them with Pics Elated Books.  This may include a written license agreement from your photographer and payment for usage.

What resolution or size should the photos be that I send to you?

Your images might be too small if you have downloaded or copied them from the Internet, or if they are from an older model phone or camera, or if the settings on your phone or camera are set to save images as a smaller size.  If your images are too small, we will contact you and let you know.

I'm a photographer and I don't have time to make photo books for my clients, can you help?

We would love to!  We're happy to help you create photo books for your clients with the beautiful photographs you have taken. Contact us to discuss pricing.

I want a soft cover on my book, can you do that?

Our books are made with a hard cover, but should you want a soft cover, or have any other special request, please contact us and we will work with you to make a photo book you'll love.

My pictures are in a shoebox, can you use those?

Absolutely!  We will scan your pictures by hand and add them to a CD for you to preserve and share.  Your photos are now ready for a beautiful keepsake photo album.  Rest assured your original photos will be treated with the utmost care and returned to you at the end of the process.  Please see our price list for the cost of this service.

What if I don't like a page in my book?

We want you to be completely satisfied with your new book, so we will discuss with your vision and style with you before the book is started.  Once the book is made, we provide a complimentary revision to make changes or updates.   We are confident you will love your book, but if you need an additional revision, there is a fee of $50.

Do you provide an estimate before work begins?

During our initial consultation, we will quote you an estimate for the cost of the book.  We require half of the estimate, which is non-refundable before we begin the book.  After the book has been completed, we will provide an invoice that details exactly the work that was done to create your book.  We require the balance of the book before it can be sent to the printer.

Can I cancel my book?

You may cancel your book up until it goes to print.  However, the initial deposit is nonrefundable.  Should you want to cancel the book after you've paid the full balance and after it has been sent to the printer there is no refund available.

Can I order more copies of my book in the future?

Yes, you will be able to order as many copies of your books as you like.

Can I have additional copies of my photo book shipped to a different address?

Yes, please provide us with the additional address and we will mail the photo book for the shipping fee of $25.
